another disaster..while I was trying to attach the canopy (already treated with a local version of Future) with Tamiya's Thin Cement (I thought of just using elmer's glue but what the heck) I overdid with the cement and it kinda melted the plastic part which I was holding with with gloves...

Frustrated
I tried using Mr. Surfacer today without any Mr. Color Thinner...tried it with a local lacquer thinner "Bronco"...surfacer was fine but I think I made a mistake in buying the 1000 instead of the 500...problem was the thinner...it melt the plastic a bit...now I have to sand it...I'm going to wait for the Mr. Color Leveling Thinner before I proceed with the Sabre or any builds...

Update for Today
basically this is where the real WIP/blog will start (all the previous blogs are meant to show what I've done before)...I will start now in blogging what I've done for the day on the same day I did it...let's start with...
my hair...I'm still waiting until it grows longer and I'll look like a Samurai with a topknot haircut...
that's my Tempest V (which I've hidden in the box because I was frustrated because of the decals and how much flat base I added to Tamiya's clear...won't happen again) Mustang, FW-190 and the Gearing (finally after 1 year...I finally finished the decks...well at least partly...
done some finishing touches on the cockpit of the Sabre and already cemented it with Tamiya's Thin Cement...
my baby...
experimenting on nose weights hehehe
I know...it's a nail ^^
there's the real weights (spent 3 5cents and 1 10 cents coins)...a screw and a worn out battery...
sanded the wheels and also made it look real by sanding the bottom so it would look real...
a closer view
sanded some flash...
there's another screw...
the touch ups on the cockpit...
New Purchases
got the Tamiya Spray-Work HG Superfine Airbrush last October 20 and also bought some RLM 75 and 76 from Gunze and a bottle of Mr. Surfacer 1000
finally it's in my hands ^^
finally it's in my hands ^^
Multi-tasking
all the clutter again...starting on the Sabre and the Mustang together with the FW-190
here's the box where I keep the painted planes so they won't get dust...I think I may need another box...already crowded...
interior green for the Mustang cockpit...again with my own mix...this time I cut off the control stick and replaced it with a stretched sprue
some sink holes I may need to fill...
